ATLANTA – Five members of the Lowndes High School FFA Chapter were recognized in the Georgia House of Representatives on January 13th. These students represented the 28 National Winners from the Georgia FFA Association at the recent National FFA Convention.

Representative Amy Carter brought forth a resolution in the State House following her attendance to the National Convention this past October. Lowndes National FFA Winners Emily Warren, Brinson Register, Hunter Corbett, Chandler Kudyk, and Jackson Sumner were seated on the floor of the House near the Speaker, joining Representative Carter behind the podium, with Callie Warren, who was also recognized, watching from the House Gallery.

During the House recognition, the Senate was simultaneously also recognizing Georgia’s FFA National Winners with a recognition by Senator John Wilkinson.
