In Georgia alone, approximately 25,000 individuals involved in agriculture are effected by some sort of disability which makes it hard to perform various task, according to WFXL.com.

FarmAgain assists ag-based workers who are in need.

FarmAgain Program Director Kristen Ray McHugh, explains that it is an umbrella project that houses several different grants and projects at University of Georgia Institute on Human Development and Disability.

FarmAgain is a free service that aims to serve farmers that have disabilities, chronic healthconditions, or injuries and get them back on the farm, which could be a result of conditions such as arthritis, spinal cord injuries, diabetes and even PTSD.

FarmAgain has one program, AgrAbility, which is funded through U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and National Institute of Food and Agriculture grants. AgrAbility uses assistive tech to make hard work easier on farms.
