VALDOSTA — Negotiations with a manufacturer that could bring 200 jobs to the area — publicly known only as Project Max — are ongoing, according to Andrea Schruijer, executive director of the Valdosta Lowndes Development Authority.
The project represents a $100 million investment and is estimated by the company to produce 200 jobs in its first phase, with an additional 200 jobs if the company decided to go through with an expansion.
