VALDOSTA – Wild Adventures Theme Park needs at least 300 fun and energetic people to fill open positions in preparation for the 2016 season that begins March 12.

“We are looking for folks who are friendly, dependable and energetic to join our team,” Human Resources Manager Cara Robertson said. “We need people who are willing to work hard, but know how to have fun and are truly interested in helping our guests have the best possible experience.”

Positions are open in most departments including admissions, aquatics, attractions, entertainment, food and beverage, games and merchandise, guest services, ride maintenance, safety and security and zoo operations.

Anyone interested should visit WildAdventures.com/jobs to view the open positions and then follow the steps on the website to submit an application online. Those who are at least 16 years old and qualified will be invited to the park on Saturday, February 6 or February 13, between 10 AM and 4 PM for a “Funterview” as part of the hiring process.

A “Funterview” is an innovative way for hiring managers to interview potential employees in a group setting and see just how outgoing and fun they can be.

All interested applicants must pre-register for the job fair by completing an online application. Those attending the job fair should wear a smile, bring a positive attitude and dress to impress. Select positions will require specific skill tests such as a math assessment for cash handling or auditions for entertainment positions.

Wild Adventures Theme Park remains one of the area’s largest employers and a strong economic force. When fully staffed, the park employs more than 750 people from seven surrounding counties and two states and spends nearly $6 million each year in labor.
