STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina fans got into a little trouble at their latest game.
The Eagles and Chanticleers had a “hype dance-off” across from each other’s sidelines during a TV timeout to loosen up before the fourth quarter, according to a report from WSB-TV.
Referees weren’t having it, giving every player on both teams an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the dancing.
Some players who had already received penalties earlier in the game were pulled from play due to a second infraction.
Georgia Southern won in triple overtime, 30-27, so the dance-off must have gotten both teams pretty hyped up.
