LAKE PARK – Local newspapers, sports editors and South Georgia Golf promotions are seeking additional 4-man teams of male amateur golfers 21 years old and older to represent them in the First Annual Sports Editors Cup Sunday October 16 at Francis Lake GC Lake Park Georgia, conducted by South Georgia Golf Promotions.

Format is a 4-man scramble flighted by posted scores. Entry fee is $75.00 per player or $300.00 per team and includes green-fees, cart, awards, and Hooters Gift Card. The overall winning team and newspaper will receive the rotating Sports Editors Cup and a Champions party following play hosted by Hooters.

Additional optional events include team player’s pot, individual skins game, 4 closest to the pin contests and a 50/50 charity drawing benefitting Breast Cancer awareness.
