HAHIRA – Hahira Elementary School students and teachers kicked off the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program for positive behavior management last week.

Mr. Allen, School Counselor, met with each grade level to introduce exciting incentives such as Bee Bucks and The HIVE (Bee Buck Store). Teachers have been busy looking for positive behavior and giving out Bee Bucks to students that exemplify the school’s three expectations: Bee Responsible, Bee Respectful, and Bee Productive.

Students at Hahira Middle School are loving the implementation of the PBIS program as they focus on being Responsible and Respectful toward fellow students, their school, and society. They are striving to earn faculty members’ signatures on their 2R3S cards, which can be applied toward incentives when filled. 2R3S stands for the PBIS goal of Respecting and being Responsible for School, Self and Society.
