VALDOSTA – Valdosta City Schools (VCS) welcomed over 80 new teachers and support staff during their annual new teacher orientation on July 13 and 14.

Teachers were hired in all grade levels and across all instructional areas.  The two-day orientation introduced them to many VCS employees including department heads, the superintendent and members of the Valdosta Board of Education who explained policies and procedures within the district.
