VALDOSTA – The Little Actors’ Theatre of Valdosta will perform ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ at PrimeTime in Valdosta this Thursday at the Rainwater Conference Center. The free baseball-themed expo is open to the public and will feature music, games, trivia contests and many local businesses. The performance will open the event at 5 p.m.

“The kids are always excited to participate in events and activities that come up in Valdosta and we are all thrilled to share our excitement with the people at PrimeTime,” said Diane Tovar with the Little Actors’ Theatre. “They not only excel on stage but off the stage as well, and it is my pleasure to see them grow in all aspects of their life especially in front of an audience.”

The Little Actors’ Theatre was established in late 2004, and offers young people the opportunity to produce and perform plays for the public. The theatre provides a well-rounded theatrical education in all aspects of theatre on and off stage.

The Little Actors’ Theatre celebrated the opening of their first permanent home in Valdosta at 1108 S. Patterson St. with Chamber Ambassadors last month. The new building opened in the fall of 2014, but recently completed renovations. Little Actors’ Theatre offers a monthly kids’ night out where kids can enjoy food and theatre games in a safe environment and parents can have a night to themselves as well.

Both parents and kids are invited to attend the PrimeTime in Valdosta expo on Thursday, June 11 from 5-7 p.m. at the Rainwater Conference Center. From Jersey Mike’s subs and Chick-fil-A sandwiches, to boutique shops and fitness centers, this expo provides the community with a taste of the city, all in one stop. The event is free to the public thanks to event sponsor, Colony Bank of Valdosta. For more information about PrimeTime in Valdosta, visit ValdostaChamber.com/primetime-in-valdosta.
