On October 5, the Valdosta State Blazers began the first day of the Camden Collegiate with a tough first round score of 299. However, the Blazers fought back for a score of 279 at the end of the second round. The Blazer’s 279 was “the best round by a team in the field for the tournament”.

This round doubled as the third best round in VSU’s all-time records, just one point behind the no.1 and 2 records of 278. However, Blazer’s third round in the Camden Collegiate ended with a score of 300. This brought their total 54-hole score to a 878, 22 points behind SC Aiken’s 856 for first place. VSU tied with Flagler for 4th (out of 11). VSU next course will be the UNG Fall Invitational in Gainesville, Ga. The Chattathoochee Golf Club will host them along with their competitors October 26-27, 2020.
