LOWNDES Co. – Verizon Wireless made a donation of school supplies to Dewar Elementary School last week.

On Friday, Dewar student representatives along with Principal Mrs. Katie Chappuis, accepted the supplies from Kendrick James, Verizon General Manager, and Lucius Williams, Verizon Assistant District Manager.

April Louviere, Dewar school counselor, will work with the teachers to ensure the supplies are given to the students with the greatest need.

Bookbags, glue, markers, pens, pencils, notebooks, folders, and crayons are just a few of the items donated by Verizon.
