Jack Horace Wright, 84, of Valdosta, died on April 7, 2020 at his home. Born on November 11, 1935, in Akron, Ohio to the late Harvey and Addie May Wright, Mr. Wright retired from Southern Railroad where he worked as a clerk operator. He attended First United Methodist Church and loved and enjoyed his New Covenant Sunday School Class. Jack loved the Lord and read his Bible every day. An avid Valdosta Wildcat fan he was devoted to and loved his family.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Rose O’Conner; his children, a daughter, Jackie Demoore, a son, Rick and Julie Wright, stepchildren, Angie and Donnie Lamb, Don and Jenny Vermillion, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a special cousin, Luke and Doris Taylor of Roberta.
