ATLANTA, GA – According to AJC, Governor Brian Kemp issued a new order on Tuesday that will once again require driving tests for teenagers obtaining driver’s licenses.

The Governor was facing harsh criticism for his initial move last month which allowed some 20,000 Georgia teenagers to submit a waiver to skip the test due to the social distancing requirements during the COVID-19 outbreak. Under Kemp’s new order, these teens will be required to take the test by September 30, 2020 in order to retain their driving privileges.
