NEWTON, Ga. – Lenorris and Kimberly Williams have been sentenced for their part in the 2017 stabbing of Georgia Mae Green Griffin and the burning of her home, according to WALB.

The Williams planned the attack as retaliation for an alleged “curse” that Griffin had put on the pair. Griffin was set on fire and stabbed nearly 20 times. Prosecutors say Griffin is alive despite her injuries.

Lenorris and Kimberly Williams were both sentenced to a total of 40 years, 20 for aggravated assault and 20 years for arson in the first degree.

Kimberly is set to serve 35 years in prison, and five years on probation.

Lenorris will be serving 30 years in prison and the last 10 on probation.
