AUGUSTA, Ga. – U.S. Army Major Jason Michael Musgrove, 39, of Grovetown assigned to the Army Cyber Command at Fort Gordon, is facing child porn charges.

Musgrove is charged with Distribution of Child Pornography, and was charged Monday morning.

The Georgia Army Major reportedly filmed a teenage relative with a spy camera and shared the images in an incest-themed chat room. According to an affidavit obtained by the New York Daily News, an undercover FBI agent caught Musgrove in the act of exchanging images and messages in the online forum, along with making sexually deviant comments about the teen in a series of messages posted on an instant messaging app called Kik on Dec. 4 and 5.

Among the disturbing comments were that he planned on drugging and raping her.

An Integrated Threat Operations officer with Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information clearance, Musgrove was assigned to the Army Cyber Joint Headquarters at Fort Gordon.

U.S. Marshals took Musgrove into custody and he is being investigated by the FBI and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID).

The name, age, and relation to Musgrove are not being released to protect her privacy.
