SPARKS, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is in Sparks, Georgia after the body of a man was discovered in a vacant home Thursday night.
The body was discovered by the Sparks Police Department at approximately 8:30 p.m. after a neighbor reported a foul odor. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was requested to assist with the investigation.
No one was reported to be living at the house located at 101 W. Bryan Street.
The body has not been identified and an autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon.
