THOMASVILLE – According to authorities, charges are now pending in connection with a deadly New Year’s Day crash in Thomasville.
The head-on collision happened Sunday afternoon, on West Jackson Street in Thomasville.
The Georgia State Patrol says a teen driver crossed the center line, hitting a car coming the other way.
The driver of that car, 53-year-old Katrina Patterson, was killed.
Authorities believe the 17-year-old driver who caused the crash was driving too fast for the conditions.
