DOUGLAS, Ga. (WCTV Eyewitness News) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a man whose body was found along railroad tracks in south Georgia.

The GBI said in a statement that Coffee County sheriff’s officials had requested its assistance after the man was found along the CSX tracks in the pre-dawn hours Monday.

Investigators said they were working to identify the man, and an autopsy was planned in Macon.
