CLINCH Co. – A Homerville man who rejected a plea deal months ago pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced to life in prison in what the district attorney called “one of he most heinous cases of child molestation” his office had ever seen.

Jarvis Henderson, 31, pleaded guilty to rape and other sex crimes. Henderson had been charged with dozens of counts dating back to 2014. Judge Howard McClain sentenced Henderson to life in prison plus 25 years.

“Henderson should never again be allowed access to children, and with this sentence, that is exactly what will happen,” said District Attorney Dick Perryman.
