MADISON, Fla. (WCTV Eyewitness News) – A Madison man is dead after he was hit by a pickup truck on I-10 in Madison County Tuesday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, David Bonner, 61, of Madison was walking across I-10 in Madison County around 8 a.m. Tuesday when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck driven by a Live Oak man.

The accident occurred around mile marker 256 in the westbound lanes of the interstate.

An FHP press release indicated that alcohol was not a factor in the crash and did not list any charges for the driver.
