
HAMPTON, Va. – A Lowndes High School graduate was shot and killed in Virginia last week, and investigators are searching for a suspect.

At approximately 7:20 p.m. on August 20, police in Hampton, Virginia were called to a mobile home park in the 300 block of West Mercury Boulevard in reference to a report of shots fired.
Officials found Robert Lee “Texas” Anderson, 24, inside a vehicle with multiple gun shot wounds. Anderson was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to reports.
Anderson was living in Newport News, Virginia. Investigators are working to develop a motive and a suspect.
Anderson played football at Lowndes High School and graduated in 2010.
