LOWNDES CO. – Georgia Department of Transportation contractor Southern Concrete Construction Co. Inc. of Albany will shift Old Clyattville Road traffic at the Interstate 75 overpass.

The previous four lanes have been narrowed to one eastbound and one westbound lane while the Exit 13 overpass is being repaired. Drivers should be prepared for a change in the traffic pattern.

The overpass was damaged in 2013 when a tractor-trailer traveling south crashed and caught fire under the west end of the bridge. Repairs include replacing portions of the deck and some of the beams and rehabilitating other parts of the bridge.
