TIFT Co. – The Georgia State Patrol is investigating an early Sunday morning single-vehicle crash that killed a 34-year-old woman in Tift County.

At approximately 1:20 a.m., the woman was driving a Ford Explorer northbound at a high rate of speed when she left the roadway, over-corrected and went into a ditch, flipping over.

The woman was ejected form the vehicle and died at the scene. Her name has been withheld pending the notification of family memebers
