SUMTER Co. – A fight between two women in Sumter County escalated to the point of gunfire over the weekend.

Rebecca Hancock and Kolbee Taylor reportedly got into a fight near a home on Tommy Warren Drive. Both women started spitting at each other, and then Taylor fired a shot in Hancock’s direction with a .380 caliber pistol. No one was injured.

Taylor has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct. Hancock has been charged with simple assault and criminal trespass. Both women were released on bond Monday night.
