PELHAM, Ga. – A Mitchell County teenager was arrested Friday for allegedly trying to sell alcohol on Facebook.

Laka Pilgrim, 18, was charged with underage possession of alcohol, illegal sale of alcohol and a an open container violation after the Pelham Police Department reportedly found liquor bottles and alcohol drinks in a cooler in her car.

PPD investigators received multiple tips that Pilgrim posted a Facebook message offering to sell and deliver alcoholic drinks. Only a few hours past between the time of her post and arrest, investigators said.
