MADISON, Fla. (WCTV Eyewitness News) – A Monticello man is dead following an accident in Madison County on Sunday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around noon on Highway 90 near NW Honey Lake Road, just north of Greenville.

Emmery Scurry, 44, was killed when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a tree.

No other passengers were in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the accident. Scurry was pronounced dead at the scene.
