COLQUITT Co. – A Colquitt County Sheriff’s deputy resigned Friday morning after being arrested in a domestic violence incident two weeks ago.

Evan Garlick, 30, was arrested by Pelham Police on May 28 and charged with simple battery.

Garlick was suspended by the Colquitt County Sheriff’s office for two weeks.
