MADISON, Fla. – Bryan Williamson, 7, was kidnapped Sunday while playing outside his Madison neighborhood, and police are still searching for the unknown man who took the child and dropped him off Monday morning in a Jacksonville suburb.
The child was reunited with his parents Monday afternoon in Jacksonville.
“He was shaken but has been reunited with his mother and father and the family is cooperating with our investigation,” said Madison County Police Chief Ken Moore. “We provided them resources to support them through this process. Many prayers were answered today, but I ask that you continue to keep Bryan and his family in your thoughts and prayers tonight.”
Authorities are continuing to search for the suspect and the dark-colored 4-door sedan vehicle involved in the abduction.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
