TIFT CO. – A pedestrian was struck multiple times by vehicles and killed Friday evening when he attempted to cross Highway 82 in Tift County.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to the intersection of Highway 82 and Cypress Street.

Isaac Rando, 53, was reportedly trying to cross Highway 82 when he was struck by a vehicle. After the initial impact, Rando was struck again by two other vehicles, reports WALB.

Rando was pronounced dead at the scene.

GSP is conducting an investigation of the incident.
