THOMASVILLE – A house fire killed one person in Thomasville Wednesday night.

The Thomasville Fire Department has released few details about the incident, but have said they arrived at the home in the 200 block of Cassidy Road after midnight.

A woman inside the house was unable to make it out and was pronounced dead at the scene, reports WALB.

The victim’s name has not been released, and investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
