ATLANTA – New trending data research finds that Georgia searches for voter registration is highest of any state in America.

Release:

Atlanta, Georgia, searches “register to vote” most relative to any other metro area in the past week.

Georgia registers the highest interest in voter registration of any state in the past week.

Five Georgia metro areas place in the top 30 for voter registration searches.

Atlanta, Georgia, searched ‘register to vote’ more than any other metro area in America over the past week, and Georgia searched for voter registration the most compared to other states.

QR Code Generator analyzed Google Trends data on registering to vote over the past week for all states and D.C., as well as 210 metro areas, to see just how much President Biden’s withdrawal from the Presidential race and Vice President Kamala Harris’s becoming the presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee has affected the American electorate.

Georgia searched for voter registration more than any other state over the past week, leading for relative interest in the overall topic of voter registration and the specific search term “register to vote” as percentages of searches for those topics out of all searches made from the state.

Other potentially key states in the race to 270 electoral college votes placed highly, with North CarolinaOhio, Florida, and Arizona all in the top 10 for voter registration searches.

Atlanta, Georgia, searched “register to vote” the most of any other metro area relatively, and searched for voter registration the joint fifth most in America.

Columbus, Georgia, ranked fifth for “register to vote” searches and joint sixteenth for voter registration overall. Thomasville (eighth) and Augusta (joint fourteenth) both featured in the top 20 metro areas for voter registration searches, and Savannah placed joint twenty-third.
