The GA Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency recently announced that Georgia has received approval for an $818.5 Milllion grant from FEMA. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is granting these funds in connection with the Lost Wages Assistance Program. The purpose of this program is to soften the financial blow many have faced due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Governor Kemp and FEMA are currently working on a distribution system to make these funds available to Georgians.
