Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory

 
JESUP, GA – Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, May 9 through Friday, May 15.

All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers

Lane closures are listed below by interstate and counties.

Interstate 95

• Exit 6 interchange project in Camden County
• Single Lane Closures (LC) Milepost (MP) 5 to 7 
• 7am to 7pm Wednesday – Friday 
• Median guardrail installation 

Bridge Rehab Projects in Camden County

• Exit 3 interchange bridges and Satilla River Bridges north of Exit 14
• Mon-Thurs 7pm-7am single LC/10pm-5am double LC
• Weekend LC remain in place 9pm, Fri through 5am, Mon
• Additional LC on SR 40/East King Ave & Boone St at Exit 3 

Appling County

• SR 27 MP 0 to 8.57 
• Slow-moving operation for new RPMs 
• Rolling lane closures between Tues. –  Thurs. 

Bulloch County

• SR 67 North of Mill Creek Bridge to Jenkins County Line
• Lane closures for Milling and Resurfacing work
• Monday – Sunday 8 am to 7:30 pm 

Charlton County

• SR 185 MP 0 to MP 13
• Slow-moving operation for new roadway striping 
• Monday – rolling lane closures 

Chatham County

• CR 787 Islands Expressway 
• Elba Island Rd. to Oatland Island Rd.
• Lane closures Monday – Saturday 9am until 3pm 
• Mobilize equipment and materials for Bridge Construction

• SR 204 at White Bluff Rd. and Mall Blvd. intersections
• Lane Closures at intersections for new roadway striping 
• Monday – Friday 9 pm until 6 am

• US 80 at Skidaway Road and Allen Blvd. intersections
• Lane closures at intersections for new roadway striping 
• Monday – Friday 7 pm until 5 am 

• SR 21 at Groves High School 
• Denmark St. to Chatham Villa Dr.
• Lane closures for pulling grid in median

Clinch County

• SR 89 MP 0 to MP 32 Tues. – Thus.

• Rolling daytime lane closures for new roadway striping 

Glynn County

• Sidney Lanier Bridge on US 17/SR 25 
• Lane Closures for Bridge Rehab work
• Monday through Sunday 6 am to 6 pm 

• SR 25 Spur/Torras Causeway
• From US 17 and extending to Kings Way
• Nightly lane closures 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., starting May 15
• Resurfacing, bridge joint work and bike safety enhancement

Jeff Davis County

• SR 135 MP 0 to 16.2 
• Slow-moving operation for new RPMs 
• Rolling lane closures between Tues. –  Thurs. 

• SR 19 RR Overpass Construction
• Detour via SR 135 and SR 135 Conn.
• Anticipated completion 2020

Screven County

Telfair County

• SR 30 between Walnut St. to Grady Ave. (Mileposts 6-7.5) 
• Lane closures with flagging for paving operation
• Monday – Thursday, 6 am until 6 pm

• SR 30 MP 9.71 to 10.08 & SR 27 MP 0.0 to 1.0 
• Slow-moving operation for new RPMs installation
• Tues. – Thurs. rolling lane closures

Ware County

• SR 158 between Hutch Lane and Barnes Road
• Road closure for three bridges to be replaced
