ATLANTA, Ga. – Monday began the 155th legislative session of the Georgia General Assembly and Gov. Brian Kemp made it clear he and his administration would be cracking down on sex trafficking remains.

AJC reported Monday that Kemp will be outlining legislation that toughens penalties for sex traffickers. First Lady Marty Kemp revealed a new training program to help identify victims of sex trafficking.

“If you see something, say something. Because someone’s freedom and livelihood depends on it,” said Marty Kemp, who created the GRACE Commission to fight the billion dollar illegal sex industry.

The Georgians for Refuge, Action, Compassion, and Education Commission (GRACE) was created to combat the threat of human trafficking in the State of Georgia. The GRACE Commission is comprised of public officials, law enforcement, for-profit and non-profit organizations, faith-based institutions, and subject matter experts to tackle human trafficking, seek justice for victims, and hold bad actors accountable.
