
COLQUITT Co. (WCTV Eyewitness News) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man was found dead on Friday.
According to the GBI, the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office contacted GBI officials just before 6 p.m. Friday to assist in a death investigation.
The GBI reports that 43-year-old Jermaine Walker, of Thomasville, was found dead next to his silver Toyota Camry on Glow Road in Colquitt County.
The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and confirmed to the GBI that Walker was the subject of a criminal investigation they were currently conducting.
The cause of Walker’s death has not been released.
Autopsy results are pending.
GBI agents and Colquitt County investigators are continuing to conduct interviews and process evidence gathered at the scene.
