ATLANTA — Monica Pearson, renowned television broadcast journalist, will receive the Chairman’s Award at the 37th Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards, September 26 in Atlanta. After 37 years as a news anchor with WSB-TV, Pearson retired in 2012. She now hosts a weekly radio show, teaches college part-time and she graduated magna cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a MA in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2014.
