A captain at the Nevada Southern Detention Center, which is contracted with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), was found to be active on the neo-Nazi website Iron March and had plans to establish a white nationalist chapter in his area, according to Vice.

In 2013, 31-year-old Travis Frey joined the infamous neo-Nazi site Iron March. He corresponded with other members on the site from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Frey expressed interest in joining the Traditionalist Workers Party (TWP) before it was dismantled. The party was headed by Heimbach who was a key player in the 2017 Unite the Right rally of Charlottesville. “I am interested in helping build the Indiana TWP,” Frey wrote. “Let me know what is needed.”

“Deep down no one really gives a shit about racism,” Frey wrote in one post on Iron March in late 2016. “This is just empty signaling from this faggot.”

An ICE spokesperson told Vice News that Frey has been placed on administrative leave information is reviewed.
