GBI arrests 17-year-old male in Child Exploitation investigation

CORNELIA – A 17-year-old male from Georgia was arrested in a Child Exploitation investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Release:

The GBI arrested and charged Paten Diontae Carter, age 17, of Alto, Georgia, with Aggravated Stalking and Child Exploitation. On May 14, 2024, the Cornelia Police Department requested the GBI to investigate a child exploitation allegation.   

Carter was booked into the Habersham County Detention Center on June 5, 2024. 

This investigation is active and ongoing.
