BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities are asking for help from the public in a homicide case that occurred in January of this year.

WJCL reported that Derrick Denson was watching his niece and nephew when three masked men shot him after robbing the home. In the 10 months since Denson’s death, arrests have yet to be made.

Police believe that Denson was specifically targeted by known assailants and that it was a robbery gone wrong.

The Denson family wants for members in the community to come forward with any information.
