TIFT COUNTY – One man has been arrested, and almost $300,000 worth of stolen items have been recovered by the Tift County Sheriff’s Office.

Darin Pearce, 47, was arrested and charged in connection with at least ten different theft cases that occurred in October through this week in Tift, Colquitt, Thomas, Decatur and Brooks counties, reports WALB.

Pearce was charged with theft by taking, burglary in the second degree and criminal attempt to commit burglary, reports stated.

Investigators believes Pearce worked alone and may have been trying to sell the stolen items online.
