VALDOSTA — Dirty Bird & The Flu will perform a free Music in the Art Park concert Friday, August 14, at the Turner Center in Valdosta.

The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts presents Dirty Bird and The Flu for a live Music in the Art Park concert on Fri., August 14, from 7-9 p.m. in the Art Park, located at 605 N. Patterson St. The concert, sponsored by Johnny & Susan Dukes, is open to the public.

Dirty Bird & The Flu is a popular Southern-fried funk, blues, and soul-fusion band known for high-energy live shows. Community members are invited to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to this family and pet-friendly event to relax in the park and enjoy the music. The food vendor is The Crew Sips & Stacks and beverage vendor is Downtown Social.

The Music in the Art Park concerts take place on the second Friday of each month, June through November, feature local musicians, and are always free to the public.
