LOWNDES CO – After a homecoming victory, the Vikings will have a bye week this week before taking on the Packers in region opener.

After a homecoming 35-13 victory, our Vikings have concluded their non-region schedule with a 5-0 record and will enjoy an open date on Friday September 20, 2024.  Region 1-6A play will begin on Friday September 27, when our Vikings travel to Moultrie to take on the Colquitt County Packers in the region opener for both teams. 

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm at Mack Tharpe Stadium located at 1000 Stadium Drive SW in Moultrie.  Individual game tickets should be available the week of the game.  Additional information will be posted as soon as detailed ticket information is received from Colquitt.  The Viking Athletic Ticket Office will be closed the week of September 16. 

The Viking Touchdown Club will not meet on Monday night.  The next Touchdown Club meeting will be Monday, September 23, at 6:00 pm in the Board of Education building on Norman Drive.  The Club meets in meeting rooms 1 & 2 of the building.  Members should use the side entrances facing the parking lot to enter the meetings.  Meetings are open to all members and every member is welcomed.  Attending meetings is a great way to show your support and obtain the latest information on your Vikings.  Coach Carter will address the members at the beginning of the meeting.  He will review the Kell game and discuss the upcoming game in Moultrie.
