Valdosta High School recently participated in the world’s largest coding event in history! The VHS Computer Science class participated in the world’s largest coding event in documented history, The Hour of Code. In partnership with code.org, these students created their very own app. Third place winner of the app creation was Crystal Wang, 2nd place winner was Parker Jackson, and 1st place grand winner of a waterproof bluetooth speaker was Mason Thompson.

All students who participated in The Hour of Code in computer science class are as follows (L-R in photo): Hunter Beyer, Dajohn Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Parker Jackson, Mason Thompson, Cameron White, Crystal Wang, and teacher, Ms. Kendal Daughtrey. Online Students who participated are Londen Jenkins, Madeline Mabry, Imauri Johnson, Sabrina Jones, and Devin Lancaster.
