According to reports, a judge has denied motions to dismiss a complaint made by former Valdosta High School football coach, Alan Rodemaker, against members of the Valdosta Board of Education.

Rodemaker alleges that he was discriminated against, based on his race, by the board members.

The defendants, including Warren lee, Debra Bell, Liz Shumphard, Tyra Howard and Kelisa Brown, each filed a motion to dismiss the case.

After excluding Rodemaker’s conclusory allegations, the judge found his remaining allegations sufficient to allow the lawsuit to proceed, ruling against the motions to dismiss the case.
