Get ready to bust some ghosts this Halloween night, as the drive-in movie returns to Wild Adventures for a night of spooky family fun!

RELEASE:

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The nostalgia of watching a big screen movie from the comfort of your car returns to Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Ga. on Halloween Night. Families are invited to safely trick-or-treat in the park during the day and stay for a unique and festive experience at night.

“This Halloween will be different than any other, so we’ve been working hard to provide fun ways for families to celebrate,” said Adam Floyd, marketing communications manager. “Families can come to the park to trick-or-treat at the Pumpkin Spice Festival all day and then close it out with a classic drive-in movie at night.”

Drive-In Movies at Wild Adventures on Oct. 31 will feature the 1984 film Ghostbusters along with food and activities before and during the show. Guests can enjoy traditional movie snacks and a food truck court with The Shrimp Box, Bojangles, Kona Ice and other vendors.

Parking for the event will begin at 6:30 p.m and end at 7:30 p.m. The movie will start at 7:45 p.m.

“With the sun setting earlier, we have moved up the movie start time from our last event. Because of the early sundown and how successful the last event was, we certainly recommend guests purchase tickets in advance online and then arrive early to get the best spot and to enjoy the food and activities,” said Floyd.

Tickets are on sale now for $30 plus tax per vehicle per movie. Current Wild Adventures Season Passholders get a five dollar discount. Tickets can be purchased at WildAdventures.com/DriveInMovies. Tickets do not include park admission, but park admission is not required for Drive-In Movie events.

Tickets and Season Passes are also on sale now to visit The Pumpkin Spice Festival, which continues at Wild Adventures weekends through Nov. 1. The festival features over two dozen pumpkin spice treats and traditional fall foods, daily trick-or-treating, Mr. Bones Glow Experience and more.
