Release:

On Tuesday, June 30 around 11:30 AM, deputies with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on an Infiniti QX 80 after noticing the vehicle fail to maintain its lane while traveling on Interstate 75. The vehicle stopped around the 5 mile marker and the deputy began speaking with the driver and the passengers.  During conversation with the group, the deputy was given conflicting stories about their travels.  These interviews led deputies to believe the occupants were possibly involved in criminal activity. A consensual search of the vehicle revealed numerous vacuum sealed bundles of United States currency stashed throughout the vehicle. Deputies also located a vial of THC oil, marijuana and two pieces of equipment used for indoor marijuana grow operations.  Miguel A. Valle, Leyri A. Valle and Yadia Molina were placed under arrest and transported to Lowndes County Jail. Additional investigation is being conducted.
