VALDOSTA, GA – On Saturday evening just before 11pm, police and emergency medical services responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting. Officers arrived to find a deceased 35-year-old male victim with apparent gunshot wounds.

Valdosta Police Department detectives and crime scene personnel responded to the scene to investigate. The incident is being treated as a homicide and detectives have identified a person of interest.
