VALDOSTA, Ga. – On Monday, January 27, 2020, the Valdosta Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 415 Northside Drive. The call came in from dispatch at 2:12 a.m.

The first fire unit arrived within five minutes and reported light smoke coming from the bedroom of apartment C-7.  Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire.

All residents were out of the house upon the fire department’s arrival. The fire was determined to be caused by cigarettes. There were no injuries reported.

There was a total of 16 VFD personnel on scene.
