LOWNDES Co., Ga. – The VLPRA has been working for the last few years to bring the Georgia Special Olympics Fall Games to Valdosta and this is the year, and this upcoming weekend is approaching fast!
Special Olympics Georgia is very excited that the 2019 State Fall Games will be heading south to Valdosta on October 11-13 where thousands of Special Olympians from all over the state will be there. Go to the Miracle Field Complex at Freedom Park and enjoy the excitement in bocce, softball, cycling and golf competitions during the weekend.
More than 2,500 athletes, coaches and unified partners from around the state will be at Valdosta’s Freedom Park to compete in Olympic-type sports competition. Please bring your family and friends to come volunteer and help cheer on these amazing athletes!
