VALDOSTA — A South Carolina bank robber was arrested in Valdosta on Tuesday.

The criminal, 56-year-old Tyrell Evans was arrested and booked at the Lowndes County Detention Center.

Evans will be extradited back to South Carolina and will receive charges of entering a bank with intent to steal.

On September 19, 2014 Evans stole money from First Citizens Bank and Trust on 2600 Rosewood Drive.
